Panel discussion to provide cyber-security tips

Learn why small businesses face great risk in cybersecurity at an event Sept. 14 organized by the Zeal Center for Entrepreneurship.

An expert-led panel from Howalt+McDowell Insurance, a Marsh & McLennan Agency LLC company, will discuss the complexities of protecting your business from cyberthreats.

Without proper safeguards in place, businesses could suffer a data breach that exposes sensitive information, disrupts operations and could lead to a lawsuit.

The panel discussion is from 3 to 4 p.m., followed by networking, at Zeal, 2329 N. Career Ave.
