Featured Event: Virtual Event Planning Panel Discussion
Startup Sioux Falls and the Zeal Center for Entrepreneurship have announced a new event, a Virtual Event Planning Panel Discussion. This event will take place via Zoom on Thursday, May 7th at 4:00 PM. The Virtual Event Planning Panel Discussion was born out of the fact that a large portion of business to consumer interaction is now taking place online, and we recognize that some business owners might not be sure how to take the leap into hosting online events for their customers.
We’ve pulled together three local event planners to share their expertise in a Q&A style event. We will start the event with some prepared questions from our moderator and open it up to participant questions at the end. Our three panelists are Addie Graham-Kramer of The Event Company, Elijah Bonde of Avera McKennan Foundation, and Bob Wendland of The Good Night Theatre Collective & Washington Pavilion.
Please join us for this unique opportunity to get some tips and best practices about how to plan an online event. We’ll be discussing how to select an online platform, how to market virtual events, how to make web-based events truly interactive with attendees, and more.
Make sure you RSVP to the Virtual Event Planning Panel Discussion. Those who both RSVP and attend the event will be entered to win one of three gift cards redeemable at the following local businesses: Sunny’s Pizzeria, Juniper Apothecary, and Fernson Brewing. The gift card values range from $45 to $60.
We look forward to “seeing” many of you May 7th, and we’re excited to see what events you come up with for your business after attending.
