Startup Sioux Falls invites you to a morning of inspiration and connection at our monthly event, Startup Sunrise. Each month, two startup founders or business leaders will briefly share their journey, followed by a facilitated conversation. Startup Sunrise transforms early mornings into a vibrant environment to connect, learn, share ideas, and problem-solve with the brightest minds in our community!

In April, we look forward to hosting Hospitality & Event Planning Founders with facilitator Tyrel Kool at LEVO Credit Union, and featured speakers Angela Merritt & Amy Boes, Co-Founders of Convolo & Casetta, and venue directors of Monick Yards, and Katie Murphy, founder and owner of Jane Rae Events.

8:00 AM: Coffee – Connect over a cup of with beans from The Source.
8:30 AM: Welcome performance by the featured artist
8:35 AM: Founder Stories – Hear 3-minute presentations from two founders or business leaders, followed by a facilitated conversation and audience Q&A.
9:15 AM: Event concludes, but FREE coworking begins (8am-5pm)

About Angela Merritt & Amy Boes and Convolo, Casetta & Monick Yards
Amy Boes and Angela Merritt, sisters and co-owners of Convolo and Casetta, share a lifelong passion for social events and tasteful interiors. With a natural talent for design and experience in the event industry, they combined their entrepreneurial spirit to launch Convolo in 2021 and Casetta in 2022. They also run and direct the new venue, Monick Yards, in downtown Sioux Falls.

Katie Murphy, CEO and founder of Jane Rae Events, has been creating unforgettable events since 2013, specializing in weddings, corporate conventions, fundraisers, and more. Based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, she combines her passion for detail with a love for connecting with others to craft events that leave lasting impressions.
